All these pretty girls Some naked to their curls The pink, green, and blue lights Playing off their skin CHORUS: I'm Passing Through Town They wanna help me get down I know they've got a crush What they whisper, it makes me blush Wearing smiles on their faces And not much on their shoulders They dance like there's a crowd But I'm the only beholder Pretty party girl got me alone But not before she brought her friend Keep on the lights so I can see Where one hottie begins and the other one ends CHORUS The dancing, drinks, and the fun They've got me all sprung Twisted in my mind They still want to bump and grind I think I may just go to sleep But these girls are getting deep After all, I'm a gentleman I can't say no to these nice women CHORUS
2.
I wanna be a gangster back in old LA I want to cruise with my boot full up and down Broadway I want a little freakette wants to sit alongside I want her secret to be more than meets the eye I wanna be the king of new white funk I wanna be more than just some snot-nosed punk PRE-CHORUS: Come down here, hit me Take a chance, you'll see There's so much you can do with me CHORUS: Come on, take a taste Don't let it go to waste I just want to be your ace Take me all over the place Please Me, Please You I want a girl with orange eyes She'll give you a check and me her sides I'll talk to everyone who needs some talking to We can lay back, get drunk by the pool I'll back up a paddywagon to a cat's ass We'll get an uppercut to the top of the class PRE-CHORUS CHORUS
3.
Backseat 03:34
I'm taking off And you can't come cause I don't know where I'm going I don't know I've got to go I've always known that I would need to see the man And talk him down CHORUS I was in the Backseat That's when I knew I was in the Backseat I have a lot to do CHORUS There will be more time I'll build my compound in the sky, or at least somewhere dry They're all coming along I hope I can afford it with this song I know it's a pipe dream CHORUS
4.
I always thought we'd be together but I hoped we wouldn't too Pretty girls out there are better it's true But I can't stop looking at you CHORUS I feel the pull It's gravitational No matter where I go I'm not outside your scope Last time I really saw you, I fell out of love Your new laziness and apathy, I couldn't be under the cloud of It makes me angry that your rays are gone. Could that be my fault too? You're the most interesting person I have ever known The way you think the way you move, the way you sing into a microphone Your sense of humor and your funny faces CHORUS
5.
All the boys that she knows wants to feel her incisor All the boys that she knows wants to get inside her All the boys that she knows, they are little wannabes All the boys that she knows, they don't act like me CHORUS: Hey yeah, I Don't Know You Hey yeah, why should I want to? Okay little thing, I'll give you one chance She comes up with a sexy little dance Maybe she'll have an adventure in the end Scenario more likely if she brings a friend CHORUS Of course you can come around to the next town Of course I'd love to have you there, not just tonight But you have to see it from my side Every girl in the room wants to go away for a while and get out of sight I love a girl with enthusiasm The way they move, they make me wanna grab 'em It turns my head when they do a trick Why don't you hope up here on this stage? CHORUS
6.
Proud Pyro 05:36
There are pyromaniacs in this band Making icy puddles across the land Gettin' so hot you'll need a fan But I'm just being honest, man CHORUS: Cuz honestly I'm not ashamed to be Chasing hunnies But don't take what I say as sleaze POST CHORUS: Every man has his needs Please don't make me get on my knees I just need a soul to squeeze My love, it spans across the sea Baby trust me, I'm a good man I'm just doing all that I can I don't really have a plan How bout you just follow our little clan? CHORUS POST CHORUS Baby, I've got a real big conscience It loves to interact with my conscious Being good, it ain't so great I'll convince For the nature, don't you have contempt CHORUS POST CHORUS
7.
I'll Snap Your Neck so you can look back for real The world shouldn't give a shit about how you feel You neuter art and thought when you mandate what people should and shouldn't say Advancement comes with discomfort Deal with it and think Don't say "put that shit away." I'll Snap Your Neck so you can look back for real Advancement comes with discomfort You can put your hands over your ears, but not someone else's mouth You'll still end up in an echo chamber of your teenage views You won't progress and you won't become better No one will help you They'll pigeonhole you Feed into your narrow-minded worldview And sell you prepackaged protest chic I'll Snap Your Neck so you can look back for real
8.
Flash back to rolling 4 Deep in the Dub Watched the villains strike it big Wanted to be a hero, had a sweet spot for the scrub Had to warm up to the shindig CHORUS: 4 Deep, Cudi in the car Trying to find who we are My family backed me up Yeah, they held me up When it came to doing dirty shit, I held up Wanted to be Prince, but hadn't got there yet Didn't have as much practice at making them wet Moved on and around I branched out how I pound Legally scored a pound Put others wheels to the ground Races and faces blending through places Traces of 8 balls and aces, Somalian cases CHORUS Never did need chemicals to make my night Evolution was on my mind, even in the light Saw people around me grow lazy and chase a baby Letting shit happen, it started to make me crazy Now I've got notches and the violent edge Mix that with the love of competition, success is born and bred The manifesto manifests itself, man, in my festivals Always knew, never worried, even when I worked at Festival CHORUS
9.
Eye Opener 05:54
I guess I'd never seen that your eyes are so green Still what they mean to me is everything Baby, don't you let 'em cry when you leave me I guess I never got the cable that your eyes were so hazel Still what they mean to me is everything Babe, don't let 'em cry when you leave me Never knew your brown eyes were so dark, almost black just like a shark Still what they mean to me is everything Baby, don't you let 'em cry when they leave me I guess I never knew that your eyes were so blue Still what they mean to me is everything Baby, don't you let 'em cry when they leave me CHORUS: It was an Eye Opener when I found out I'm not immune to crazy How could I trick myself, let her body make my mind hazy? I guess I never knew you got so glad when I confronted you like the dad you never had Guess I never knew you got so glad Guess I never knew you got so blue Just knew you straight up gave up said there's nothing you can do Guess I never knew you got so blue Guess I never knew you got so angry Never knew how quick you could change your tune and decide to hate me Guess I never knew you got so angry Some of your problems, they're your own fault But every mention of working on yourself got me attitude and salt Some of your problems, they're your own fault CHORUS Guess I never thought you'd wanna drop out of school Get three part time jobs and pave the way for two What the fuck were you thinking? You were acting like such a fool Don't tell me that the fucking doctor told you your insides were a coat hanger I should have done it myself, shoved those pills right down your throat I was in danger Thank God I knew to kick you off the raft so I could float Later CHORUS

about

The first record from music project Ozone Baby! Cameron O'Connell (songwriter, guitarist, bassist) got together with longtime friend and musical collaborator Andrew Summers (drums, keyboards, horns, production, engineering) to make what the world sorely needs right now: something that you can dance to that is funky as hell. Cameron is of the mind that rock is a bit too serious and sad right now and funk needs to have a renaissance. Influenced by the likes of The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anderson .Paak, early Aerosmith, Sly and the Family Stone, Parliament Funkadelic, Sublime, Queens of the Stone Age, Black Flag, Minor Threat, Eagles, The Rolling Stones, milo, Action Bronson, and more, Ozone Baby has something for everyone. The reuniting of Cameron's artistic vision and Andrew's technical knowledge birthed Start Listening, recorded at Michigan Tech University in Houghton, Michigan. The snow and ice could not hamper the sunny funk rock of Ozone Baby. Now the music is in your hands and your ears, so have some fun with it! Get funky, get sexy, enjoy the sun and some friends. Most importantly, Start Listening!
